Summer Feast (Good Food in Greenwich)

Who doesn’t love Greenwich and its beautiful surroundings? You’ll love it even more with the Good Food Summer Feast (Good Food in Greenwich) which returns for a fun filled day of food, drink, music and more this summer to promote the local produce offered by Greenwich’s finest traders.  A great festival which supports a great and important cause, take advantage of everything that’s on offer at this year’s Summer Feast.

About Summer Feast

Summer Feast was established in order to celebrate the great and the good that comes out of Greenwich.  Local producers are specially chosen and celebrated with a fantastic festival that attracts visitors from all over London.  The festival encourages people to support their local businesses, especially those that demonstrate ethical values through what they do such as ensuring sustainable food produce, animal and people welfare and enriching society.

Made in Greenwich and Organic Greenwich are two of the main names showcasing local talent as the festival marks the beginning of the Change 4 Life Roadshow.  A great community festival, local residents are encouraged to volunteer and help out in a bid to make the festival a sociable and successful occasion.

Why Should I Take Part?

It is more important than ever that we celebrate local businesses who produce high quality, sustainable food that not only ensures their survival, but helps the environment and local economy too.  A festival born out of truly good intentions, Summer Feast brings together a wealth of local traders, allowing visitors to find out more about what’s on offer in their locality and get to know the people behind it.

As well as having plenty of food to try, there are plenty of stalls around selling local produce to take home – allowing you to continue your new found delights long after you leave the festival.  You can be sure that there will be plenty of entertainment to really make the occasion, with live music and entertainers appearing throughout the day.  Children and families are certainly welcome, and there will be plenty of opportunities to keep the kids occupied. A great festival to socialise and catch up, as well as meet new faces, you won’t want to miss the Summer Feast this year.
