About the Walthamstow Garden Party
Only in its second year, the Walthamstow Garden Party is a must visit for all Londoners. Last year over 34,000 people attended the festival, and this year’s is going to be even bigger. Located in Lloyd Park in Walthamstow, guests can enjoy the countryside style setting and get together to enjoy music, food and more in this event brought to you in partnership with Barbican and Waltham Forest Council.
The Walthamstow Garden Party provides the perfect opportunity to enjoy all of the best bits of the summer, packed into one great weekend. The pop up cinema is a must-see for some great alfresco viewing and there are arts a plenty too for those who enjoy some culture. If of course it’s food you’re after, you won’t be disappointed, with a great food festival, craft beer and plenty of street food to keep your appetite at bay.
When is the Walthamstow Garden Party?
The Walthamstow Garden Party takes place on Saturday 18th of July and Sunday 19th of July 2015.
Why Should I Take Part?
A festival so good, they brought it back again? You’d be mad not to check it out. This year’s festival has some great headliners this year including Bobby Womack and Tiken Jah Fakoly as well as many other great local and international acts taking to the stage. Singing, dancing, entertainers and actors are sure to delight the crowds, making for a fun-filled weekend.
If you’re a fan of arts and crafts, you’ll find plenty to excite you at the Garden Party including the Useful & Beautiful Craft Marquee and the E17 Designers Market. Food lovers will find plenty to sample and take home whilst at the Real Food Festival and families will find plenty to keep them entertained. For a fun festival which packs a lot into one weekend, we can see why they brought it back for another year. Did we mention that it’s free entry as well? An even better excuse to pay the Walthamstow Garden Party a visit this July.
