In what is set to be this year’s largest food festival, expect to join thousands of other self-confessed ‘foodies’ to sample food and drink from all over the world. Now in its tenth year, the Foodies Festival has continued to grow and this year promises to be the best yet!

The Foodies Festival is a programme of festivals which take place annually all over the UK. This summer, to celebrate their tenth anniversary they are heading to Alexandra Place, London for what’s going to be its biggest festival yet. If you love food and being outdoors, this is one summer event that you won’t want to miss.
There’s almost too much choice at this year’s festival, with the usual stalls and shops being joined by an even wider selection this year. Top chefs will be giving live demonstrations in the Chef’s Theatre, whilst the Drink Theatre and Tasting Theatre will give you plenty of opportunities to sample some new delights. With plenty of things to see and do and some great entertainment for children as well, the whole family can enjoy a fun day out at the Foodies Festival.

Why Should I Take Part in Foodies Festival, Alexandra Place?
The Foodies Festival is the largest festival in the UK and brings together a whole host of delights to thrill your taste buds. Amongst the highlights at this year’s festival are:
- The Chef’s Theatre where you can see top chefs show off their skills
- The Drink’s Theatre where you can enjoy a selection of cocktails, beers and ciders
- The Children’s Cookery Theatre where kids can learn all about cooking
- The Feasting Tent a new addition where guest can sit and mingle on long banqueting tables
New to this year’s festival are the Vintage Tea Tent where you can enjoy retro style tea parties and a tea dance every afternoon or for something spicier, the Chilli Food Market and its frightening Chilli Eating Challenge which you can take part in daily at 5pm (if you dare!). For those who enjoy the finer things in life, you can lap up a bit of luxury in the Wine and Champagne Tent.
