Happy New Year and welcome to our first recipe round up of 2015. When we sat down to write this post we thought about adding recipes all about salads and soups, because most of us are shaking off the ‘Christmas weight’ and it’s far to cold to not want to tuck into a bowl of soup, but then we thought, 2015 should be about the enjoyment of food and not about limiting ourselves. All we need to do is cook fresh and balance our meals – Substituting fried for baked, using herbs in the place of heaps of salt, using fresh ingredients in the place of frozen meals. We can cope with that, right?
Let’s prepare our meals and make time for enviable work lunches instead of heading to the nearest sandwich shop. Let’s cook ourselves a hearty breakfast instead of settling for a coffee shop bought pastry. Let’s begin a fresh ingredients revolution instead of tying ourselves to a dreaded New Year’s diet.
